Dark clouds over-cast the blue sky,
Short broken choppy waves on the sea.
Gale force winds-up-rooting trees,
Boats tossing and rolling on the waves.
Brave sailors struggling to save their vessels,
A storm is raging with heavy shower.
Couldn't see any distant object,
Strong chilly breezes, through the wet air.
Birds are flying hurriedly to find a shelter,
Those shivering with cold, seek a cozy corner.
Everything came to a stand-still.
After the rain, vegetation looks greener,
Flowers are refreshed and much cleaner.
The porous land gulps down the rainfall,
Precious water it is, the life line for all.
