Coral Garden

By Mr. Ali Shareef H.Filigasdhoshuge Male Maldives.

Exploring under-water paradise
Never get tired of it,
Seeing the coral gardens,
The great wonder of the world.

Of different hue and wonderful shape,
Taken years to grow,
Into myriad of weird,
Beneath the waves, that rolled.

The only sound you can hear,
That makes your own breathing,
When you dive to this delicate garden,
With colours so bold.

In the crystal clear water, sits a sea-bed,
The most complex ecosystems,
In the beautiful reefs.
Rejuvenate into many folds.

Observers eager to see,
The changes that take place,
Natural shifts and balances,
Found in marine life, some are old.

Most precious but fragile assets,
In these coral gardens.
Have to be carefully maintained,
To keep Maldives ever gold.

As a beauty spot,
Famous for its scenery.
Where one can predict,
How long this fine weather will hold.
