On seeing the blessed sight,
Thousands move lively,
Eager to get a piece of land for housing,
Watching the landfill project progressing quickly.
People living in Male', experience untold difficulty,
Inadequate space for housing,
Most families live in crowded places, losing dignity.
Let us think about the necessity of greater Male',
I wonder, the idea of Hulhu-Male',
Did it come out of the blue?
When the water in the lagoon was in deep blue.
Thanks to the man who felt the pulse of common folk,
Deserves a glorious tribute for the
Courageous decision,
And for his clear futuristic vision.
For our children, this project is a flame of hope,
That may brighten the dark days of congestion,
By solving the problem and knowing how to cope.
This is another symbol of success,
Under the undisputed leader,
On the road of progress.
